Whatsapp last seen glitch,user not able to change privacy settings
In the evening of Friday (19 June 2020)
#WhatsappDown once again started trending on social media. This is because many users posted about a Glitch in the last seen / online feature of Whatsapp. Actually, disturbances in this feature of Whatsapp were reported in Kui and countries including India. The website down detector also confirmed that this cross platform messaging app was experienced at around 8:39 pm on Friday evening as per Indian time. After which, in just a few minutes more than two thousand users reported about this glitch or bug. However, this bug of Whatsapp was fixed after few minutes.
Currently the instant messaging platform Whatsapp has not released any official statement regarding this bug. We have not seen any posts about any of this type of gleech on Whatsapp's social media platforms and official blogs. However, users have reported this bug by sharing some screenshots of their privacy settings on the microblogging platform Twitter. This bug of Whatsapp was faced by both Android and iOS users and reported on social media platforms
Due to this bug of Whatsapp, users were not able to change their last seen status. As the users were trying to change it, they were seen loading .. for a long time. According to Down Detector, about 64 percent of users have reported this bug. At the same time, 26 percent users have reported a connection issue. However, 8 percent users were having trouble logging into the app. According to the website outage map, users in Europe, Mexico and India were more affected by this. Currently this bug has been fixed and this app is now working properly
