A special feature is being rolled out by social media company Facebook for Messenger and Instagram users. This feature, Inspire from Snapchat, is being rolled out in the United States and other markets from Friday. According to a report by The Verge, Facebook is bringing a new Vanish Mode for globally selected users. Facebook has not confirmed whether this feature will be available to users in India or not.
It is clear from the name of the new feature that with the help of this, users will be able to disappear after viewing their messages and multimedia. Text, photos and voice messages sent by users on Instagram and Messenger will be 'vanished' or disappear after closing the chat box. According to media reports related to the new feature, now the Venetian mode will only work on individual chats and is not available for group chats.
Facebook has been testing the missing messaging feature on all its messaging services, including WhatsApp, since early this year. Now both Messenger and Instagram are officially getting Vanish mode.
How to enable vanish mode in
instagram and messenger

1. To enable Vanish mode on either of the apps, simple head to the app
2. Open any chat window and swipe up from the bottom of the screen to enable Vanish mode
3. Once the Vanish mode is on, Instagram and Messenger will clearly mention Vanish mode in the chat window.
4. To turn off Vanish mode swipe up from the bottom screen again.
This is how you can send disappearing messages on Instagram. Vanish mode and some other new messaging features are in the testing phase in selected countries and will soon roll out to all users globally. So if you don't see the new Vanish mode even after updating your app, be patient.
